However, now there is a scare about a new flu pandemic having evolved in Mexico. Is it of similar risk? Yes, it could be!
In fact, the new strain is H1N1, which is exactly the same as the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. That's not good. Potetntially, it is even worse than the threat from Bird Flu. But we should wait and see...
News reports are already indicating the fatalities have occurred principally amongst strong healthy adults rather than children or the elderly. That is evidence of the virus triggering a Cytokine Storm just like the 1918 virus.
So everything written on this site is as relevant for 'Mexican Flu' or 'Swine Flu' as it is being called, as it is for Bird Flu...
